Ishihara Helps Racers Run Win Streak to 3
The Indianapolis Racers grabbed a 7-2 win over the Pennsauken Flyers at Speedway Field. Indianapolis shortstop Katsuhiko Ishihara was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Jay Cannon picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 6. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon had a big run-scoring single for the Racers in the bottom of the fifth inning.
