Flyers Get Road Win, 5-3
|
The inspired effort of Milton first baseman John Hansen was not enough to prevent a 5-3 loss to the Pennsauken Flyers. Hansen went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Pennsauken is 34-30 and Milton, with the loss, 33-31.
Pennsauken used a timely hit from Arturo Annunziato to get the win. The right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put the Flyers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Annunziato told the Pennsauken Chronicle.
