|
A 4-RBI performance from the 27-year old shortstop Tom Bancroft helped the Houston BC beat the Indianapolis Racers, 7-3. The winner was Bernardo López, who threw 92 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits. The save was credited to Tom Burnett, his 1st.
In the first inning, Bancroft had a 3-run home run for Houston. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the BC on top, 4-0.
