Drummers Come Back Late to Clip Fighting Dachsunds
The Tortolita Drummers downed the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 4-3, at Drummers Ballpark. Tso-i Wang led the way, going 3-for-4 for Tortolita. Tortolita reliever Anderson O'Mara picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jason Huggins suffered the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Tortolita.

Kolby Hay found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Ellenburg hurler Jason Huggins, the 20-year-old center fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run. His 19th walk of the season put the Drummers on top, 4-3.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Ellenburg manager Justin Saginov. "But we decided not to take it."
