Wang goes 3-for-4, Drummers Move to 43-9
|
The Tortolita Drummers topped the Houston BC, 8-2, in M3L Triple A action at Houston Park. The player of the game was Tortolita shortstop Tso-i Wang. Cisco Pérez earned the win to go to 9-0. He allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Anderson O'Mara earned the save for Tortolita, his 15th of the year.
Tortolita took a 7-2 lead on Wang's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Abdul-Nasir Rabah in the top of the eighth, propelled Tortolita to the win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Wang.
Tortolita goes to 43-9. The win puts them 9˝ games up in their division.
