Evergreens Stumble, Lose to Patriots
A nice crowd turned out to see the Boston Patriots and Portland Evergreens clash at Evergreen Park.

Boston got a strong outing from Alberto López as the Patriots defeated the Portland Evergreens, 8-2, at Evergreen Park. Aldo Ottens earned the save for Boston, his 1st of the year.

Juan Dávila put Boston in front, 7-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Giovanni Mireles in the top of the third. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"Alberto is still learning," said Patriots manager Tyler Carter. "The sky's the limit for him."

Boston bumps their record to 14-18 with the win.
