Bancroft Helps BC Run Win Streak to 3
|
The Houston BC turned back the Hamilton Coyotes, 6-5, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Tom Bancroft was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Hamilton's current losing streak is now 7 games.
Had Bancroft not come through in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Bancroft hit a run-scoring single. The BC never looked back after taking the 6-5 lead.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Bancroft. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
