BC Lose, 5-3, at Psychos Ballpark

The Houston BC got a superb performance from designated hitter Tom Bancroft, but the Florida Men still won the game, 5-3. Bancroft was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Florida reliever Robert Cagle picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Sam White was collared with the loss. The Men go to 17-21, putting them 8th in the Menard's AAA.
Arend van der Veen had a big bases-clearing double for the Men in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Florida leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Sam White and stroked the double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Men ahead, 5-1.
"This was a good win," said van der Veen.
