|
Indianapolis got a strong outing from Tim Walker as the Racers defeated the Salt Lake City Buzz, 4-1, at Spirits Stadium. With the win, Indianapolis goes to 19-15, while the Buzz fall to 11-23.
Indianapolis used the clutch hitting of Gong Mao to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to give the Racers the lead, 2-0. For the game, Mao had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"Tim is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Indianapolis manager Emílio Sáenz.
