Victory Over Flyers Takes Houston to 9-5
|
A 3-RBI performance from Robby Arnold, who is tied for 7th in the 3AAA in triples with 1, helped the Houston BC beat the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-2. Houston reliever Steve Costlow picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cristóbal Román absorbed the loss. Abdul-Nasir Rabah picked up the save for Houston, his 6th of the year.
Houston took a 5-2 lead on Arnold's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jeren Kendall in the top of the sixth, propelled Houston to the win.
"We've got a great group of guys," Arnold said, "and we're having fun right now."
Houston goes to 9-5 with the win.
