Hot Start Continues for Drummers
The Tortolita Drummers grabbed a 7-2 win over the Indianapolis Racers at Speedway Field. Tortolita center fielder Kolby Hay was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. The win was Andy Fallon's in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Jen-ta Men took the loss for Indianapolis. At 11-3, the Drummers have played well so far.

Vojtech Farkas put Tortolita in front, 3-1, when he took Jen-ta Men downtown. His solo home run came with no one out in the top of the fifth. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Farkas said later.
