Red Pandas Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas scored a 4-3 win versus the Houston BC at Houston Park. Sioux Falls pitcher Won-u Yi nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Sioux Falls reliever Tate Beason was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Abdul-Nasir Rabah took the loss. The Red Pandas have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 3rd win in 10 games.
Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Félix Romero to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Red Pandas ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Houston manager Juan Cuestas said following the tough loss.
