Athletic Club KC right fielder Gene Ricks was instrumental in his team's 14-1 win over the Milton Dogfish Head. Ricks, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2035 draft, went 3-3 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Reserves. Bob Sosa, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held the Dogfish Head to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 5. Ben Walker got credit for the save for Athletic Club KC. It was his 1st of the year.
