Drummers Roll to 8-2 Win Over Red Pandas
|
Spirited fans at The Bamboo Forest greeted the Sioux Falls Red Pandas for their clash with the Tortolita Drummers.
The Tortolita Drummers grabbed a 8-2 win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest. Tortolita first baseman Tso-i Wang was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once to earn player of the game honors. With the win, Tortolita improves its record to 4-2.
In the top of the sixth, with Tortolita leading 3-2, shortstop Augusto Encarnación hit a run-scoring single. The hit came off Brandon Franklin and put the Drummers ahead, 4-2.
In postgame comments to the Tortolita Daily, Wang said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
