Drummers Roll to 9-3 Win Over Red Pandas
The Tortolita Drummers topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 9-3, with catcher Blythe Plumpley playing a big role. Plumpley was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Drummers in the win. The win was credited to Andy Fallon in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Greg Rook took the loss. The Drummers raised their record to 3-1.

Tortolita took a 5-3 lead on Plumpley's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Domingo Velasco in the top of the sixth, propelled Tortolita to the win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Plumpley said.
