Piranhas Lose to Knights, 6-4

The Kingston Township Knights beat the Panama City Piranhas, 6-4, at The Tank. The Knights got a fine performance from catcher Holden Ford, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Greguorio Espora, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 4-0. The Knights are off to a tough start, getting just their 8th win in 21 games.
Kingston Township grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Ford, the 11th overall pick in the 2033 draft, hit a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Knights out in front, 6-4.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Ford said.
