Cattlemen Lose to Rocketeers, 6-3
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen and Seattle Rocketeers cranked it up at The Cattle Pen.

The Seattle Rocketeers topped the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-3, in Menard's Third League action at The Cattle Pen. The player of the game was Seattle pitcher and Tainan, Taiwan native Ren-qing Weng. Weng, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs.

Thierry Honoré had a big 2-run double for the Rocketeers in the top of the second inning. With Seattle leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Armando Romano and stroked the double to center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rocketeers ahead, 4-0.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Weng.

Losses have been rare for the Cattlemen, who are now 14-5.
