Shredders Rally For Late Win Over Hotspur
The Hollywood Shredders topped the Phoenix Hotspur, 2-1, with youngster Ricky Sellers playing a key role. Sellers threw 6 innings allowing 1 run for the Shredders in the win. Hollywood reliever An Jang-Yop was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Rust Cohle took the loss for Phoenix. The first-place Shredders have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Hollywood center fielder Takeshi Kovacs, facing Armando Garay, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Shredders the 2-1 win.

"We were in it," said Phoenix manager Michael Esposito. "We just didn't score enough runs."
