Starting pitcher Mark Toope pitched well enough to help the Nashville Outlaws beat the Mississippi Mockingbirds by the score of 12-4. Nashville's record now stands at 44-49, placing them 8th in the Silver League.
This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the 12th, Seung-min Sin drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Outlaws took the lead, 5-4.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Toope.
