Tanaka Baffles Bompton Batters Sunday, June 7th, 2037 In an outstanding outing, Amarillo Warheads starter Shigochiyo Tanaka tamed the Bompton Baby Lakers with a 3-hit shutout at Ballpark of Henderson today. The Amarillo hurler went the distance, finishing with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 4-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Bompton manager Chua-kah Liu. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
