Jhon Aimar was a calming influence out of the Amarillo Warheads bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the M3L Rookie Reliever of the Year Award for 2037.

The Barranquilla, Colombia native won the award with 3 saves in 28 relief appearances, 91 strikeouts in 57.1 innings and a record of 7-2 to go with his 1.41 ERA.

He received 3 first place votes out of a possible 12. Benny Berry of the Amarillo Warheads finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Luis Medina of the Greenport Harbor Whales finished third with 3 first place votes.
