His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the M3L Rookie Reliever of the Year Award for 2037. The Barranquilla, Colombia native won the award with 3 saves in 28 relief appearances, 91 strikeouts in 57.1 innings and a record of 7-2 to go with his 1.41 ERA. He received 3 first place votes out of a possible 12.
