Ken Townsend Injured, Out for Season
Sunday, August 16th, 2037
Canonniers de Quebec starting pitcher Ken Townsend could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn labrum. He exited yesterday's Bompton game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Townsend would be out 4-5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

His record for the year is 7-5 in 17 starts and Townsend has a 3.88 ERA.
