Rowland Selected Top Performer in 3R Monday, August 3rd, 2037 Pitchers who faced the Canonniers de Quebec last week were happy to see Tom Rowland in the rear-view mirror. The 19-year-old third baseman was dubbed the M3L Rookie Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .423 clip. For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season in 71 games Rowland is batting .272 with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 69 hits in 254 at-bats. |
