Saturday, September 26th, 2037
The future looks extremely bright for Juan Santos. At the age of 19, many players are still trying to find their way in USSL Rookie.

Santos has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USSL Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .329 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said.

The Montgomery Biscuits star also put up a .370 on-base percentage this year, with 127 hits, 21 doubles, 2 triples, 11 home runs, 56 RBIs and 53 runs scored.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10. Ron Carlisle of the Amarillo Submarinos finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Julián Vélez of the Phoenix Hotspur Academy finished third.
