Santos Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, August 3rd, 2037 Juan Santos's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 25 games. The Montgomery center fielder smacked 3 hits against the Phoenix Hotspur Academy in today's game at Ballpark of Fresno, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Biscuits drop the game, 6-4. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Juan Santos flied out in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far in 2037 Santos is batting .339 with 8 home runs, 41 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 289 at-bats and a .382 OBP. |
