No Late-Season Magic Coming: Casper Out of Playoffs Monday, September 14th, 2037 The dream of lifting a championship banner above the home field of the Casper Ghosts has been extinguished, at least for 2037. The club was formally eliminated from playoff contention today. Asked to comment on how he felt about the news, Ghosts manager Martin Gaines issued a one-word statement, which cannot be printed by BNN. Casper hasn't yet made it to the postseason. They haven't made the playoffs in all 22 years of their history. |
