Oskamp Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 10th, 2037 So far in his young career, Carel Oskamp has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Phoenix Hotspur Youth center fielder hit at a torrid .471 clip as he collected 8 hits in 17 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Oskamp is swinging the bat at a .312 pace. He has hit 6 home runs and scored 42 times, while driving in 30. His on-base percentage is .327 and he has played in 75 games. |
