Hwa-pyung Yi Out for Season Sunday, July 19th, 2037 The season is ending on a bad note for Hwa-pyung Yi, closer for the Tacoma Fur Traders. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Yi was hurt against the Belvedere Park Rawhides while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 5-6 months. So far this year Yi has delivered 12 saves. In 23 relief appearances he has 29 strikeouts in 23.2 innings with a 3.04 ERA and a 0-3 won-lost mark. |
