Irving's Janssen Will Miss Season
Thursday, July 16th, 2037
Lex Janssen has to call it a season. The Irving Blue Sox closer sustained a season-ending injury against the Lancaster Farmers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Janssen was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn back muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months.

For the year Janssen has 2 saves. In 6 relief appearances he has hurled 5 innings, fanned 5 and issued 1 walk with a 2-0 record. The Irving reliever has recorded a 3.60 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .263 when he is on the hill.
