Week's Best Player: Athletic Club KC Academy's Fernández Monday, June 29th, 2037 So far in his young career, Oriol Fernández has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Athletic Club KC Academy third baseman hit at a torrid .417 clip as he collected 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this year Fernández has hit .265 with 6 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
