Albert Karlier Injured, Out for Season Monday, June 8th, 2037 A blow for Albert Karlier today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation. Karlier suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Billings Polar Bears are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Karlier's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, in no relief appearances Karlier has compiled an ERA of 2.67. He has pitched 30.1 innings, struck out 37, walked 19 and registered no saves. |
