Japón Wins 3AA Batter of the Month Tuesday, September 1st, 2037 For a rookie just breaking in, Jorge Japón certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the 3AA Batter of the Month award for August. The 20-year-old third baseman for the Marquette Miners hit .291 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Japón is batting .253 this season in 90 games with 13 home runs, 57 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 367 at-bats. |
