Injury Ends Career of Caspar Irwin Wednesday, August 19th, 2037 Caspar Irwin's playing days are over. His career has been cut short due to a severe injury sustained in yesterday's game against the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Imps Park. The 24-year-old Ogres reliever was injured throwing a pitch and suffered a torn rotator cuff. For the season Irwin has no saves, tossed 38.2 innings, fanned 22 batters and produced an ERA of 4.19. He has also been credited with no wins and 1 loss. |
