Star of the Week Honored in 3AA Monday, August 17th, 2037 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Lowell Evans of the Marquette Miners reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Evans rocked opposing pitching for a .571 average (8-for-14), 1 home run and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Currently Evans has 8 home runs and a .285 batting average. |
