Perry Goes 5-for-5 Saturday, August 1st, 2037 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Lawrence Perry of the Billings Polar Bears had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate today in the 7-5 win over the Richland Rails at The Igloo. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 23-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Lawrence Perry singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
