Fog Celebrate Wild Card Win Saturday, September 19th, 2037 For the Sunset District Fog, it's not how you start, but how you finish. That's the mantra the team is following after today qualifying for the playoffs. "We may be going into the playoffs as a wild card team, but we plan to finish the playoffs as champions," said first baseman Cecil Nelson. "There's no shortage of confidence from guys in our clubhouse." With a record of 60-42, there will of course be teams with better track records in the postseason. But team manager Theo Graves said his club has "infinite optimism" that they can win the franchise's 5th USSL Triple A championship. |
