No Late-Season Magic Coming: Vermont Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 19th, 2037 It will be a long offseason for the Vermont Lake Monsters organization. The team came close, but have ultimately failed to make this year's playoffs. "Making the playoffs has to be our ultimate goal," said manager José Zamora. "We'll use the offseason to see what changes can get us there." Vermont last appeared in the postseason in 2035. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
