Seung-soo Yi Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, August 11th, 2037 When Seung-soo Yi was hurt against the Vermont Lake Monsters, the Memphis Redbirds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 24-year-old reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Yi would miss 15-16 months of the season. This year Yi has registered no saves in 1 relief appearance. He has also compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark with a 5.86 ERA.
