Daniel Edwards has to call it a season. The Brinkley Belugas starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Texas Bronze Sox and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Edwards was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months.

So far in 18 appearances this season, Edwards has recorded 3 wins and sustained 6 losses. He has pitched 106.2 innings, yielded 92 hits, fanned 90 and has a 3.80 ERA.
