Players Suspended in Bronze Sox-Nobles Donnybrook Saturday, July 11th, 2037 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Texas-Bakersfield contest at Bronze Sox Park. The Bronze Sox Cristo Cuervo and the Nobles Shawn Williams will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Cuervo has batted at a .224 pace with 22 hits, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 16 times. Williams's record this season is 4-and-2 with no saves and a 4.59 ERA. He has given up 28 hits in 33.1 innings with 24 strikeouts. |
