Buzz CF Daugherty Suspended 3 Games Sunday, May 17th, 2037 Salt Lake City will not have the services of center fielder Bob Daugherty for several days. The league commissioner has suspended him for 3 games for arguing a third strike call. The altercation occurred in yesterday's contest with the Houston BC and involved the home plate umpire. Riled up by being called out, Daugherty slightly shoved him after he was ejected. In baseball it is taboo to touch an umpire. |
