The Hamilton Coyotes medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 13 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. bin Amid was hurt in the game against Sacramento while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date, bin Amid has collected 2 saves in 16 relief appearances.
