Vargas Picked 3AAA Player of the Week Monday, August 24th, 2037 Francisco Vargas burst onto the M3L Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Athletic Club KC garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .579 (11-for-19) with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs last week. Thus far this year Vargas has hit .281 with 17 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
