Mais Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Panama City Sunday, August 16th, 2037 The Seattle Rocketeers did little to support starter John A. Mais against the Panama City Piranhas, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Piranhas, striking out 5 and surrendering 8 hits. The performance from Mais allowed Seattle to escape with the 1-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'John A., we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Mais told BNN reporters following the win.
