Season Possibly Over for Dave Hulton
Thursday, July 30th, 2037
The doctors have spoken and Dave Hulton of the Panama City Piranhas didn't like what he heard. The 29-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Hulton sustained his season-ending injury during the Montana Pandas game yesterday at The Tank. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Panama City medical staff reported Hulton had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12-13 months.

This season Hulton has chalked up a 2.45 ERA while ringing up 1 save with 1 win and no losses. He has made 8 relief appearances, pitching 14.2 innings, giving up 8 hits, and holding opponents to a .163 batting average. Hulton has also recorded 7 strikeouts and allowed 8 walks.
