Mockingbirds Iglésias and Hotspur Ellington Suspended for Fight Sunday, May 17th, 2037 After an intense confrontation, both the Mockingbirds Jorge Iglésias and the Hotspur Rook Ellington were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Mississippi-Phoenix game. Jorge Iglésias will miss 3 games, while Rook Ellington was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jorge Iglésias commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Iglésias is batting .325 with 13 hits and 1 home run. He has knocked in 7 runs and scored 6 times. |
