Cornu Week's Top Player Monday, September 21st, 2037 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Sébastien Cornu, the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC 25-year-old catcher, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for United States Silver League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 21 at-bats, compiling a .524 average with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs. For the season Cornu is batting .290 with 91 hits and 25 home runs. He has scored 51 times and batted in 68. |
