Season May Be Over for Outlaws Sierra
Tuesday, August 25th, 2037
Nashville fans will be disappointed to learn that Javier Sierra suffered a fractured thumb while being hit by a pitch in today's game. After the doctor informed the Nashville Outlaws manager that Sierra was expected to miss 6 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the left fielder could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.
So far this season Sierra has gotten 82 hits in 312 at-bats for a .263 batting average with 16 home runs. His stats include 51 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has played in 87 games.
