Chan-ho Shinn took USPL Single A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 19.

For his spectacular campaign, the Provo Mango star has been named the 2037 USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman.

On the season he compiled a .330 batting average to go with a .387 on-base percentage. The native of Incheon, South Korea also added 20 doubles, no triples, 28 home runs, 61 RBIs and 55 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Harry Cornelis of the Caldwell Chiefs finished second in voting, while Seung-hwan Pak of the Chicago Gold Sox finished third.
