PA Player of the Week Named Monday, August 31st, 2037 David de Meij is respected by most Delaware 1787 BC fans for his no-frills style of play. The 18-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .625 average (10-for-16) with no home runs, 0 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year de Meij has hit at a .234 pace and produced 12 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 31 runs. |
